They are useful when a tank requires more than one switching point, such as a high alarm, low alarm, pump start, pump stop or process-control signal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the measurement task, a solution may use multiple discrete switches or a continuous level sensor with configurable outputs.
