Current configurations and availability are checked for each enquiry.<\/p>\n<h2>Instrument routes for temperature measurement<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Portable indication and checking:<\/strong> handheld indicators, calibrators and simulators for inspection, commissioning and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Panel and process instruments:<\/strong> indicators, controllers, recorders and transmitters for fixed measuring points and control systems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calibration:<\/strong> instruments and dry-well routes for checking temperature sensors and measuring chains.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data logging:<\/strong> review <a href=\"https:\/\/te-instrumentation.nl\/en\/gemini-products\/\">Gemini Tinytag data loggers<\/a> for longer-term recording of temperature and other environmental values.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Non-contact measurement:<\/strong> review <a href=\"https:\/\/te-instrumentation.nl\/en\/what-we-do\/keller-pyrometer-systems\/\">Keller pyrometer systems<\/a> where contact measurement is not practical.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What information is needed?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Thermocouple, Pt100 or other input type.<\/li>\n<li>Measuring range, required resolution and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Number of channels and simultaneous measuring points.<\/li>\n<li>Local indication, recording, alarms or control output.<\/li>\n<li>Power supply, communications, enclosure and operating environment.<\/li>\n<li>Calibration or documentation requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For an existing instrument, send the complete model number, a photograph of the label and details of the connected sensor. We can review the measurement function and the appropriate current route.<\/p>\n<h2>Match the instrument to the measuring chain<\/h2>\n<p>An instrument cannot be selected from temperature range alone. Input linearisation, cold-junction compensation, lead configuration and any output to a control system must match the sensor and installation.
