The modular Trimod concept
For the modular level-switch range, the process connection, float and switch module are selected for the application. This allows a configuration to be matched to process conditions, material compatibility, mounting and switching requirements. Not every combination is suitable for every application, so the complete type code and current product documentation remain decisive.
The range includes standard, industrial, plastic and special versions. Further routes cover high- or low-temperature duties, contaminated or crystallising media and applications requiring particular approvals.
Selecting a Besta level switch
For an initial technical review, provide:
- the liquid and minimum density;
- process pressure and temperature;
- tank or chamber mounting and process connection;
- high- or low-level alarm, pump control or another switching function;
- material and environmental requirements;
- required ATEX, IECEx, SIL or marine approval;
